Notable Work with Adams Observatory
- Ongoing: spectral classification of bright B-type stars
- We uncovered the spectral classification for Algol C, the third
star in the bright star system, Algol. I gave a long talk on our
findings as an AAVSO webinar during COVID, which means it
is memorialized on YouTube. - We discovered an emission-line A-type star (pretty rare), only to
find out that it is also a binary. - We provided spectral classifications of emission-line B-type stars
in a study focusing on photometric variability. - First published work with Adams Observatory: I discovered an
emission-line B-type star.
Other Work
- Draft introductory-level optics textbook: provided here is the
table of contents and first chapter - Dissertation on massive star cluster formation
- A full list of published articles can be found on ADS.
